iMPerfect People Ministries was founded on the conviction that no one is beyond redemption or a fresh start. Men and women walking out of correctional facilities or battling substance dependency often face closed doors, fractured relationships, and overwhelming barriers to housing and employment.
iPM stands in that gap. We offer a structured home that fosters dignity, personal responsibility, and practical tools, allowing individuals to dismantle their past habits and build productive, fulfilling lives.

Real transformation requires leadership that understands what it takes to start over. Elzie Willis founded iMPerfect People Ministries on the belief that a flawed past is not the end of a person's story. Having navigated his own real-world struggles and life detours, Elzie brings an approachable, grounded presence to every resident who walks through our doors. He combines that authentic, lived perspective with decades of professional operational management and published authorship. Under his direction, iPM provides more than temporary shelter—it offers a structured, dignified brotherhood where residents learn the daily habits, accountability, and self-worth needed to reclaim their lives.

At iMPerfect People Ministries, resident safety, daily accountability, and structured support are maintained through an active operational model:
Executive & Program Direction: Led by our Executive Director, overseeing corporate governance, agency referral liaisons, individualized milestone tracking, and community compliance.
On-Site House Leadership & Peer Monitors: Structured residential living supported by trained on-site peer house managers who ensure daily curfew compliance, manage chore rotations, coordinate facility security, and administer routine, random drug/alcohol screenings.
Mentorship & 12-Step Sponsorship Network: Collaboration with trusted community sponsors, recovery coaches, and volunteer mentors walking alongside each resident through their 12-Step steps and spiritual formation.
Independent Board Governance: Strategic and ethical oversight provided by a dedicated Board of Directors committed to legal stewardship, fiscal integrity, and community impact.
